Police looking for person connected to armed robbery at Wharf

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said it's looking for a person connected to an armed robbery that happened in Southwest D.C. on Thursday night.

MPD said that at about 8 p.m., the suspect went up to the victims in the 700 block of Wharf Street, pulled out a gun, assaulted one of the victims and stole their items.
The suspect then left the area.
