ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – A Rochester man is facing prison time after secretly recording a minor in the shower. In February 2021, the U.S. Attorney's Office said 53-year-old Gregory Brooks secretly placed a video camera in a bathroom where he knew a and underage person showered and positioned the camera to capture them getting into and out of the shower. Between February 2021 and August 31, 2023, Brooks received and stored the videos of child pornography taken by the camera on his cell phone. Brooks pleaded guilty to receipt of child pornography and will face five to 20 years in prison with an additional $250,000 fine. Sentencing is scheduled for February 6.
