GREENFIELD, Mass. (WWLP)—Greenfield Police are addressing what they call "increasing tension" surrounding the possibility that resource officers may return to public schools.

Police Chief Todd Dodge said the department is hosting a meet and greet with the officers who would be assigned to these positions. The event will be held on Tuesday, October 29th from 4:30 to 6:30 at the John Zon Center.
The School Committee will discuss the school resource officers at their next meeting.
