SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — If you want to get a jump on the weekend, look no further. The World's Largest Bounce House is sure to put some spring in your step. For the next few days, there will be some big-time fun like you've never seen before. The Big Bounce America 2024 tour is jumping into Savannah for this weekend. You've probably seen bounce houses at kids' parties or community events, but these inflatables aren't just for kids, and they are sure to bring out the kid for everyone. Big Bounce America is the world's largest touring inflatable event and will be located at Ottawa Farms in Bloomingdale until Sunday. The event features a massive 24,000 sq. ft. bounce house, giant slides, ball pits, climbing towers and a brand-new foam party. "This (bounce house behind me) is over 24,000 square feet, fits over 350 people, has three different stages, we have snow machines, bubble machines, confetti canons, we have DJs doing music and prizes and giveaways all day long with contests," said Troy Wheeler, the manager of The World's Largest Bounce House. "We have slides, obstacle courses, ball pits, everything in here that you could possibly imagine. And of course, giant couches that you can just relax on and chill." Explore weekend events with WSAV's Community Calendar Wheeler showed WSAV around to different inflatables that were being set up throughout the morning. "In addition to this, we have so many other bounce houses that have different things you can do," Wheeler explained. "We have the Giant that is a giant obstacle course, we have a Giant Slide, we have Octoblast which is new this year that has a bunch of snow that is going off constantly. "Even during the warm days of summer, you can still get that feeling of winter." Don't forget: this event is for all ages. There will be age-specific sessions for kids and adults: Junior sessions, for those under 7 years old, are from 9 am to 12 pm. Big kid sessions, for those 15 and younger, are from 12 pm to 3 pm and 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Adult-only sessions, for those older than 16, are for 3 hours and are from 6 pm to 9 pm and 7 pm to 10 pm. Tickets start at just $22 and range up to $45. No shoes are allowed on the attraction, but socks are a must. This event is so massive, organizers told WSAV that they started setting up the inflatables on Wednesday, so over 72 hours of getting ready for the weekend. The bounce house is the Guinness World Record holder for The World's Largest Bounce House. The largest inflatable fits 450 people and a DJ. There is no graceful technique at all required in the bounce house. All that matters is that you're smiling. For more information about each bounce house, click here. Here's a sneak peek at what is in store are these four specific bouncy houses: There's a large Octopus, called OctoBlast which is a large foam party, with DJs while you bounce past colorful ocean creatures. There is Sports Slam, which is sports-themed featuring hoops, balls of every size and a climbing tower where you can "battle" who can stay on their podium the longest. The Giant is over 900 feet in length and is a long obstacle course that managers told WSAV typically takes 10 to 30 minutes to get through. The quickest time to beat in the long course is just over 2 minutes. There is also an out-of-this-world inflatable, airSPACE, which features friendly aliens, spaceships, a gigantic 5-lane slide and a huge 25-foot alien right in the center.
