PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) -- The City of Petersburg Government Offices will be closed to observe Columbus and Yorktown Victory Day. On Monday, Oct. 15, the Petersburg City government offices will be closed in observance of Columbus and Yorktown Victory Day. According to the City of Petersburg, the city's bus services, which includes the Paratransit and Greyhound, will be operating on Monday. In addition, Dogwood Trace Golf Course will be open on Columbus Day. CVWMA recycling and Meridian Waste trash collections will operate on a regular schedule for the holiday. There will not be any delays for the week.
