Florida GOP boasts 1 million more registered voters than Democrats ahead of November elections

With the November elections nearing, the Republican Party of Florida held a registration advantage of nearly 1.055 million voters over the Florida Democratic Party as of Sept. 30, according to data posted Wednesday on the state Division of Elections website. The data showed the Republican Party with 5,455,480 "active" registered voters, while the Democratic Party had 4,400,561.
