OWEN COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Funeral services have been scheduled for the three crew members who tragically lost their lives in a medical helicopter crash earlier this week in Owen County. State Police reported that pilot Gale Alleman, paramedic James Welsh, and flight nurse Bethany Aicken died after their Air-Evac Lifeteam helicopter crashed on Monday evening near Highway 22 East in Owenton. Dignity Memorial has announced that a memorial service for flight nurse Bethany Aicken will be held this Saturday at 6:30 PM at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home in Louisville. Moore and Parker Funeral Homes has scheduled a funeral service for paramedic James Welsh on Saturday morning at 11:00 at Immanuel Baptist Church in Cold Spring. According to Serenity Funeral Care, a funeral service for pilot Gale Alleman will be held at a later date in Michigan.
