COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)–The City of Columbia hosted its annual “Isabel Law Breakfast” Friday morning on Main Street. The event honors those who lost their fight with breast cancer as well as survivors. Guests were served hot grits, pancakes, bacon and more by city officials. They were also treated to plenty of good music. ABC Columbia News spoke with Isabel’s daughter, Tamara Law, who says her mother’s legacy includes helping over 5,000 breast cancer patients in her time as a registered nurse. Former Columbia Mayor Bob Coble named the breakfast after Isabel Law when the event got its start 22 years ago. Categories: Local News Tags: Isabel Law Breakfast
