East Baton Rouge Parish redevelopment agency starts search for new CEO

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) -- Redevelopment agency Build Baton Rouge has started its search for a new Chief Executive Officer.
The agency said the new CEO will lead Build Baton Rouge to drive equitable development and revitalize underinvested areas.
"We are looking for a leader who not only understands urban development but is also committed to advancing equity across our community," said BBR Board Chair Rodney Braxton. "This CEO will be vital in building a legacy of transformative change for Baton Rouge."
According to the agency, an ideal candidate would have extensive experience in urban planning, community development and real estate while including input from the community.
