Should you be elected, what are three specific areas you’d like to change, address, improve or further research, and how specifically would you go about it?: By the time I would take office the jail will have already been set in motion. So I will start by taking a deep dive into the county budget, after the impacts of paying for a jail. I will look to make any cuts possible and make sure we are as efficient as possible, stretching our taxpayer dollars as far as we can. With the savings that we find, we should be able to fully staff the Sheriff’s Road Patrol and pay for it out of the county funds. This would allow us to stop relying on local tax levies to pay for police protection. I will do all these things in a very open and public manner so that the citizens feel educated and witness to the process, not just informed about the decisions afterwards without any input. I will also do all of this in a professional, dignified way as to not bring shame to the office or my county.
Whether for past accomplishments or future goals, why should voters elect you?: Both. I believe I have the perfect resume to be a county commissioner. The things I want to accomplish will benefit all Lake County’s Citizens for generations to come. Voters can be confident that I will make decisions for the best interest of Lake County, and not to benefit my personal, political agenda.
