SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) - An investigation is underway after what deputies are calling the largest seizure of cocaine from a residence in the history of Spartanburg County. On Monday, Oct. 7, the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office along with the Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and Greenville Upstate Carolinas Border Enforcement Task Force (BEST) executed a narcotics search warrant at the 300 block of Stirrup Court in Greer. Cocaine seizure (Spartanburg Co Sheriff's Office) Deputies said when officials arrived at the scene, the home was unoccupied. During the search, authorities located 43 kilograms of suspected cocaine and $419,000. The amount of cocaine has a street value of almost $2 million according to deputies.
