WESTFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - The Greater Westfield Chamber of Commerce is celebrating the grand opening of its new office in the heart of downtown Westfield. Neighbors and local officials came together Thursday afternoon at the new location on Elm Street. The Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit that helps provide advocacy and networking for local businesses year-round. Their new office is set to bring visibility to the community now at street level. "Having a big beautiful plate glass window where we can put up displays that highlight the chamber's activities and what's going on with our members…things that are happening in town, it's kind of like our own little billboard," shared Amanda Waterfield, Executive Director, Westfield Chamber of Commerce. Each year the non-profit assists single-person operations to large local businesses. Any kind of business can benefit from being a part of the chamber. The chamber encourages the community to stop by the office at 166 Elm Street or visit here for more information on how to become a member.
