SANGER, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A man has died following a disturbance in Sanger on Wednesday night, according to the Sanger Police Department.
Police say on Wednesday at around 10:20 p.m. they were dispatched to a disturbance in the 900 block of N. Street in Sanger with reports of shots fired.
According to police, when officers arrived they located a man in his mid-40s who had been shot.
Police say that the victim was transported to Community Regional Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.
Detectives were called in and have made contact with all involved parties related to the disturbance.
Police say they are currently conducting their investigation as to the circumstances that led up to the shooting and if any charges will be filed after the investigation.
