HUTCHINSON, Kan. (KSNW) -- A 37-year-old Eureka woman has been arrested in connection to an overdose death that happened in Hutchinson in June. She was taken into custody Wednesday on 13 counts that include distribution of a controlled substance resulting in death, conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance resulting in death, and unlawful use of a communication device. Her bond has been set at $250,000. The arrest is associated with a fatal drug overdose that occurred in Hutchinson in June 2024. The Hutchinson Police Department thanked the Greenwood County Sheriff’s Office and Butler County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance in the investigation and arrest of the woman. The unidentified victim's death was discovered on the evening of June 5, but no other details have been released.
