A Costa Rican dance troupe Sunday makes another appearance in the famous New York City Hispanic Day Parade/Desfile de la Hispanidad New York.
“The Costa Rican Folk Dance Group ‘Recordando Mi Tierra,’ all residents of Trenton, will proudly participate for the fourth time in the parade. We’re excited to represent Costa Rica and the City of Trenton,” Laura Mora, a group co-founder, said.
The promenade on Fifth Avenue on October 13, 2024, includes delegations from 21 Spanish-speaking countries that display their music, cultural traditions, costumes, and folklore.
Paraders march up Fifth Avenue from 44th to 69th St, from Midtown/Midtown East to Central Park/Upper East Side; at 12 noon.
These representing countries appear in alphabetical order during a day of colorful fun.
