Court records show that investigators with the Menominee Tribal Police Department saw Brown in his car on Jan. 1, performing a drug transaction in a business parking lot. Brown was subsequently arrested and searched.
Officers recovered over 15 grams of cocaine and about $4,400 from him, along with a loaded semi-automatic handgun in the vehicle, which had Brown's DNA on it. Law enforcement also came into contact with him two weeks later, when he was arrested after being found passed out at the wheel.
At that time, he had cocaine in his possession, and a search warrant unveiled 380 grams of cocaine and items associated with drug use, including packaging, and a ledger with possible customers. In addition, the search uncovered a handgun and ammunition.
