Moscow Police Department officers were dispatched to a report of a stabbing occurring at a North Washington Street Apartment on Wednesday at approximately 9:42 p.m. According to CBS2 the reporting party stated they heard a commotion, entered the residence’s living room area and saw the victim, a 73-year-old male, holding the 35 year old male suspect to the floor. Officers arrived on scene and the suspect was taken into custody. An ambulance transported the victim to be treated for multiple stab wounds. The victim’s status is unknown. The suspect was transported to the Latah County Jail and has been charged with attempted homicide. The victim and suspect are family members, but their identities have not been released.
