UPDATE: 10/10/2024 1:50 p.m. MEDORA, ND (KXNET) — Firefighters have stopped the forward progression of the Pasture 10 Fire north of the north unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Crews are currently strengthening containment lines and will continue to mop up the incident. T The fire is located in section 21, roughly two miles west of Highway 85, outside of the north unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park. _________________________________________________________________________ ORIGINAL: 10/10/2024, 12:44 p.m. MEDORA, ND (KXNET) — A new wildfire has set a blaze in North Dakota. According to the North Dakota Forest Service's Facebook page, the fire started in pasture 10 of the north unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Officials say it's currently around 40 acres. County, federal engines, and a helicopter are on their way to help control it. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
