NORTH DAKOTA (KXNET) — A map has been released by the North Dakota Department of Emergency Services that tracks all the active wildfires in the state. The map has live status information that includes the size and how much has been contained. "Our GIS section has been working hard alongside partners to get this up and running for the public to better track the size and boundary of these historic wildfires," said Homeland Security Director, Darin Hanson. This map is the most up-to-date with official information, as new fires pop up, the map will be updated with verified information.
