Bakersfield man gets 7 years for receiving child porn

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- A 43-year-old Bakersfield man has been sentenced to seven years in prison for receiving child pornography, according to federal prosecutors.
Christopher Patterson received more than 600 electronic files that showed minors "engaging in sexually explicit conduct," according to a release from the U.S. Department of Justice, Eastern District of California. He received the files between July and November 2018, the release said.
Patterson was sentenced Wednesday.
