BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- The City of Bakersfield is set to host a bulky waste collection event on Saturday. City officials say the event is set for Oct. 12 from 8 a.m. to noon at 4200 Panorama Drive. Adventist Health to host free breast screening event Furniture, mattresses, box springs, appliances, electronics, water heaters and BBQ grills without propane will be accepted at the event. Officials say propane tanks, construction materials, items with refrigerant, household hazardous waste and liquid waste will not be accepted.
