MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- Montgomery County Fire (MD) & Rescue Service said a person and a dog were injured after being hit by a car on Thursday morning. Crews said that at about 7:30 a.m., they were dispatched to Longdraft Road and Pheasant Run Drive for a collision involving a pedestrian walking a dog. Red Cross deploys volunteers, special vehicles from Maryland to help with Milton recovery efforts The person was transported to the hospital with critical injuries. The dog was transported to an animal hospital.
