ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – The Erie Canalway National Heritage Corridor has announced the winners of its 19th annual photo contest! After a total of 329 entries, judges selected first, second and third place winners in four contest categories as well as 12 honorable mentions. Photos selected in the Canal Communities category: 1st Place Fairport Lift Bridge (Sarah Woodams, Pittsford) 2nd Place Old Mills on the Mohawk (John Wilcox, Herkimer) 3rd Place Boom Go the Fireworks (Jeff Tracy, Lockport) Photos selected from the Classic Canal category: 1st Place Heron Stands Watch at Lock E5 (Zachary Baum, Rexford) 2nd Place Star Trails (Daniel Quarto, Albion) 3rd Place Photos selected from the On the Water category: 1st Place Bridge Transport (Neil Ferguson, North Tonawanda) 2nd Place Summer Night Boating (Charles Cappellino, Seneca Falls) 3rd Place A Romantic Walk (Dave Warner, Little Falls) Photos selected from the Along the Trail category: 1st Place Ava & Knox (Amy Zounes, Clifton Park) 2nd Place Intersections (Stephen Abbey, Williamsville) 3rd Place Fall Morning (Patricia F.
