ENFIELD, Conn. (WWLP) - A truck mounted with a crane traveling on I-91 in Enfield struck a bridge causing an overhead sign to hit another vehicle. Springfield’s “X” intersection set for major reconstruction According to the Connecticut State Police, at around 9:12 a.m. troopers were called to a report of a commercial vehicle crash on the northbound side of I-91 before Exit 47W in Enfield. The crane mounted to the truck struck the Route 190 bridge overpass.  The crash caused a large metal sign affixed to the bridge to fall and hit a vehicle. Police say minor injuries were reported. The right three of four lanes are closed at this time as crews work to clear the area.
