The Epilepsy Foundation of Minnesota is taking its “United in Epilepsy” Walk to Allianz Field in St. Paul on Sunday to raise money. The walks are the largest fundraising event in Minnesota to benefit people who have or are otherwise impacted by epilepsy. According to an EFMN, more than 55,000 people are living with epilepsy in the state. The Twin Cities walk is the largest of six walks that have taken place in the state this year — the others were in Duluth, Moorhead, Mankato, Rochester and St. Cloud this summer. Registration and pre-event activities, which include bounce houses, balloon artists and face painting, begins at 9 a.m., and the walk starts at 11 a.m. There will be a post-walk celebration with lawn games and ice cream until 1 p.m. As of Thursday, the Twin Cities regional walk alone has raised more than $150,000. Their goal is raising $303,000 in 2024. Register for the walk at EFMN’s website: p2p.onecause.com/efmnunitedinepilepsywalks/home Related Articles Local News | Need to go to the hospital?
