Good afternoon! It's a fairly cool day out there with many areas only reaching the upper 50s to near 60. Look for a clear and chilly night tonight, then milder weather returns tomorrow. Hurricane Milton made landfall yesterday evening near Siesta Key in Florida. It was a Category 3 storm with winds of 120mph. Milton will continue to move away from the United States. As of Noon, it was still a hurricane, according the National Hurricane Center. The east coast of Florida will see a 3-6foot storm surge from Milton through this afternoon. Tonight's aurora could be as spectacular as what we had back in May. It'll be chilly tonight with temperatures dropping through the 50s and 40s this evening. Overnight lows will be in the 30...some frost is possible. Protect any sensitive plants. TOMORROW Cold start to the day tomorrow, but the afternoon will be milder....mid 60s with sunshine.
