Participants ride on a battle bus driven through an interactive zombie horde. Tickets include a paint gun and 150 rounds of ammo. The Abita Fall Fest is this weekend, kicking off with Friday night’s, Oct. 11, After Dark Fest, which includes food trucks and Tab Benoit plus others. Then on Saturday, Oct. 12 the Abita Fall Fest presents The Mo’ Jelly Band, food from local vendors, and a wine garden. Next, get ready for the Chicken Dance! Expect German food and beer, beer stein-holding competitions, a 6k race, and live German music. Finally, at Lafayette Square Park, the free Crescent City Blues & BBQ Fest brings live blues and jazz performances, an art market, and of course, top BBQ vendors.
