What to know before Royals ALDS Game 4 in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Royals are playing postseason baseball at Kauffman for the first time in almost nine years.
Thursday is the second game at Kauffman Stadium in the ALDS and the fourth game of the series.

The Yankees ended up winning 3-2 and taking a 2-1 lead in the series thanks to a Giancarlo Stanton home run on Wednesday. If the Yankees win the game Thursday they will win the series and move on to the next round.

Pregame timeline
The Royals vs. Yankees first pitch is at 6:08 p.m. Wednesday.
2:30 p.m.: Parking Gates Open
4:30 p.m.: All Kauffman Stadium Gates Open
6:40 p.m.: Pre-game ceremonies
7:08 p.m.: First pitch
Tickets
If you’re still looking for tickets, there are plenty still available. You can buy tickets here through MLB.com. The cheapest ticket will cost you about $150, but they go up to about $700. You can also find tickets on Seat Geek, Ticketmaster, StubHub and more.
Parking and Traffic
Parking lots open at 2:30 p.m. ahead of Wednesday night’s game.
Fans going to Kauffman also need to remember that all parking passes must be purchased in advance online. Payments won’t be accepted at the parking gates.
Parking passes are $30 for ALDS home game two.

Stadium Gates and Entry
All stadium gates open at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, about three hours before the first pitch.
Kauffman Stadium has a Clear Bag Policy, which means fans are only allowed to bring a clear plastic bag, a one-gallon clear zip-seal bag, or a small clutch bag into the stadium. Backpacks and purses are not allowed.
Cashless
The Royals do not accept cash at Kauffman Stadium. All concession stands and retail stores are completely cashless.
Acceptable forms of payment include credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay.
