WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- A West Lafayette man was arrested on Wednesday on child pornography possession charges, as well as drug possession. According to a news release from the West Lafayette Police Department, investigators received information on Oct. 1 regarding the possible transmission of child pornography from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Through that information, the release said that investigators identified a possible suspect and location location where the illicit material had been transmitted. Silver Alert issued for missing teen girl in extreme danger On Wednesday, investigators conducted a search of an apartment on Brown Street in West Lafayette. Law enforcement entities detained the suspect, identified in the release as 33-year-old Lyndon Walker, outside of the apartment. Walker has been preliminarily charged with: Two counts of possession of child pornography, each a Level 5 felony One count of possession of child pornography, a Level 6 felony Misdemeanor counts of marijuana possession, possession of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia.
