PLEASANT PRAIRIE, Wis. (WFRV) – A 21-year-old Illinois man was arrested following an early morning pursuit that reached speeds over 115 mph.
According to a release, Kenosha Police officers began pursuing a reckless driver at approximately 2 a.m. on Oct. 10, 2024. The officers decided to end the chase due to safety concerns as the suspect entered the village of Pleasant Prairie.

The chase spanned roughly four miles and reached speeds exceeding 115 mph. The driver, a 21-year-old man from Zion, Illinois, surrendered when officers successfully intercepted his vehicle, bringing the pursuit to a safe conclusion.
The suspect was taken into custody on charges of fleeing or eluding an officer, four counts of second-degree recklessly endangering safety, and multiple traffic citations.
