OAK CREEK, Wis. (WFRV) — A global food business that develops gourmet, affordable, and environmentally friendly products will close its only Wisconsin plant in December. According to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) letter submitted to the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development, Solina USA will cease manufacturing operations at its Oak Creek facility. The affected positions include blending operators, packaging operators, crew leaders, and production supervisors. Solina said the affected employees are not represented by a union, and no bumping rights exist.
