Cooler weather arrives this weekend, slight chance of rain next week

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- The cooling trend continues in Kern with today's temperatures down to the low 90s in Bakersfield. Cooler air is on its way to the Golden Empire with temperatures in the 80s beginning Friday into the weekend. By next week, expect temps in the 70s with a slight chance of rain by next Thursday.
