Central Ohio Weather and Radar A broad area of high pressure extends from the Great Lakes to the Mid-Atlantic, which will keep the weather mostly sunny and seasonable. Temperatures will top out in the upper 60s. Skies will be clear tonight, with a chance to see the northern lights if you are away from city lights, especially over the northern part of the state. High pressure will slide east on Friday, allowing a light southerly flow to boost temperatures into the mid- to upper 70s to start the weekend. A weak cold front will stall across northern Ohio on Saturday, resulting in an increase in cloud cover, with an isolated shower or storm. A wave will develop along the front and bring a better chance for showers and a rumble of thunder Saturday night into Sunday. The cold front will push southeast later on Sunday, which will be followed by the chilliest air of the season next week. Temperatures will be mainly in the 50s during the afternoon, with morning lows in the mid- to upper 30s. Frost is likely Tuesday and Wednesday mornings.
