High pressure will slide east on Friday, allowing a light southerly flow to boost temperatures into the mid- to upper 70s to start the weekend. A weak cold front will stall across northern Ohio on Saturday, resulting in an increase in cloud cover, with an isolated shower or storm. A wave will develop along the front and bring a better chance for showers and a rumble of thunder Saturday night into Sunday. The cold front will push southeast later on Sunday, which will be followed by the chilliest air of the season next week.
