Back in the 1960’s, Glenn Donnelly was a football player for Baldwinsville High School and South Dakota State University. After college. he took a job with General Electric in SyracuseIn 1970, he left G.E., bought the Weedsport Speedway and began developing his Drivers Independent Race Tracks (DIRT) organization.
