INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a shooting that injured a man early Thursday morning.
According to IMPD, around 1:37 a.m. an off-duty officer heard a disturbance in the 6300 block of Guilford Ave.
While investigating the disturbance, the officer heard shots being fired and located an adult male with a gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to IU Health Methodist Hospital in stable condition.
Police said they do not have a suspect in custody, but investigators are speaking with witnesses who were in the area.
