Expect clear skies and cool conditions again for your early Thursday morning rush hour. The weather pattern has been incredible these past two weeks, under dominating high pressure air masses, originating mainly from Canada. Morning temperatures will range between 45-50° at sunrise. Grab a coat and your sunglasses! Abundant sunshine, light winds and comfortable temperatures will hold for today and throughout the evening. Expect afternoon highs reaching the middle to lower 70s, slightly above the seasonal average. More great weather for your Friday and Saturday, with additional sunshine and warmer temperatures, as 80s return on Saturday. Gradual changes get underway Sunday with a cold front passage, bringing a few showers in the morning, as temperatures begin to cool. A more abrupt change will happen Monday, as even colder air begins to overspread the area on breezy northwest winds. Highs will likely only reach the upper 50s Monday and Tuesday, as frost will threaten the area through midweek. Shower chances will be with us off and on from Sunday through Tuesday but little amounts will fall, keeping our moderate drought status in play.
