SHAWANO, Wis. (WFRV) - From wall to countertop to wall, the artwork in Off The Wall Art Studio and Gallery catches the eye at every angle. “We feature a lot of local artwork, quarterly, we change it up," studio owner Tamara Magee said. "We also have a lot of paint and wine nights.” Magee's studio is one of three featured on the Shawano Miles of Art tour, which also features Gresham-based studios Novitiate Healing Ground and Aschenbrener Bronze. “It’s all local artists,” Magee said. “It’s a great event where you get to go and visit everyone’s studio and see how they work and how they got to the end product. There are so many phenomenal artists and people with such imagination. I have had people from 80 to 11, I had an 11 year old girl have art in here.” Magee hopes that people take away the dedication that each individual artist has for their unique craft. “Just how much work that people who love to make art put into the art," she said. "Take away a love for art because that’s why we do it.” Magee is an artist herself across multiple genres, and found her picture perfect calling in life by helping other artists display their work. “It makes me happy," she said. "People ask me ‘what’s your dream job?’ Well this is it, I already have it.”
