One person was injured during a reported stabbing at a San Marcos high school that sent the campus into a temporary lockdown Wednesday, according to officials. The incident was reported around 3:25 p.m. at Mission Hills High School on Mission Court Road, sheriff’s Lt. Patrick Fox said. The injured person was taken to a hospital but was stable, Fox said. The suspect was detained. The school was put under a temporary lockdown while deputies worked to clear the scene of any further threat, Fox said. It was not immediately clear what the motive or circumstances behind the stabbing were. No other information was immediately available.
