HENRIETTA, N.Y. (WROC) — The old Sticky Lips building on Jefferson Road in Henrietta has a new owner, Cook Properties.
According to their website, Cook Properties is a Rochester-based company that primarily works in manufactured homes and communities, but also manages some commercial property.
In a phone interview, CEO of Cook Properties, Jeff Cook, called the location "fabulous" and "exciting;" noting that parcels of this size infrequently come around on Jefferson Road.
As for what will go in the building, Cook says the deal just closed, but says his team will be looking for a food or retail business to move in.
Sticky Lips in Henrietta closed as owner Howard Nielsen wanted to retire.
“All the people that we’ve met, through my 42 years I think we’ve employed over 8,000 people,” Nielsen said to News 8 in July, adding he will miss chatting with customers tableside.
