FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A man was hospitalized in critical condition and a suspect is outstanding following a stabbing in Fresno on Wednesday, the Fresno Police Department said.
Police say they received a call for a welfare check at Pinedale and Maroa avenues just after 4 p.m. for a man who had blood on his shirt.
Upon arrival, officers located a man in his 30s suffering from several stab wounds. He was transported to a local hospital and he was listed in critical condition. Just before 8:50 p.m. on Wednesday, police announced the man was in stable condition.
Investigators add the suspect is outstanding in this case.
