Park City Municipal on Wednesday afternoon released a statement regarding the arrest of Patrick Baker in Salt Lake City. “Park City Municipal Corporation learned through press reports that Patrick Baker was arrested in Salt Lake County, Utah for attempted child sexual abuse,” the statement reads. “Baker was a seasonal lifeguard and swim instructor at the PC MARC during the summer of 2024. Since learning of his arrest, the City has terminated his employment and worked to notify parents who had a child enrolled in programming involving Baker.”According to the statement, Park City has not received any information that any criminal activity occurred in relation to Baker’s employment with the city. “His arrest was based on alleged conduct that occurred outside of Summit County,” the statement reads, ending by urging anyone who has reason to believe that their child may have been subjected to abuse to immediately report it to law enforcement by contacting the Summit County dispatch at 435-615-3601.The post Former Park City seasonal aquatics employee arrested for attempted child sexual abuse appeared first on Park Record.
