A pedestrian was killed in a Tuesday night crash in Aurora on Chambers Road, just north of East Colfax Avenue, police said. The unidentified man was crossing Chambers mid-block, outside of the crosswalk, when a Chevrolet sedan hit him, the Aurora Police Department said in a 9:34 p.m. statement on social media. The driver remained on scene and the pedestrian died from his injuries before paramedics could take him to the hospital, police said.
