Police charge man with murder of 19yearold in Oxon Hill

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- Detectives have charged a man for shooting and killing a 19-year-old in Oxon Hill in April, according to the Prince George's County Police Department (PGPD).
According to police, on April 11, around 5:30 p.m., officers responded to the area of Neptune Avenue and Audrey Lane for a shooting. Once on scene, they found Tyron Avent, 19, of Oxon Hill, Md., outside with a gunshot wound.
He died there.

A preliminary investigation revealed that Javon Moore, 23, of Washington, D.C., allegedly shot Avent before leaving the area, according to police.
Police said that Avent and Moore knew each other.
Authorities charged Moore with first and second-degree murder and other related charges. He is in the custody of the Department of Corrections.
