(KRON) -- Four arrests were made this month after a Livermore police investigation into stolen firearms uncovered over a dozen guns, numerous high-capacity magazines, stolen bicycles and narcotics, the Livermore Police Department announced Wednesday. The Crime Prevention Unit of Livermore PD served several search warrants after receiving information in early August that two people were in possession of stolen firearms and attempting to sell them. Search warrants were served to a home and an encampment in Livermore and a home in Stockton, authorities said. Livermore man identified as person killed in Oakland crash involving stolen car Detectives recovered 15 stolen firearms, most of which were connected to two residential burglaries in Livermore that occurred over the summer, police said. The Crime Prevention Unit also recovered “multiple rounds of ammunition, numerous high-capacity magazines, precursor parts to manufacture firearms, 17 stolen bicycles, and a pound of methamphetamine.” In October, police arrested four people without incident in connection to the burglaries and weapons possession: Yvonne Nolascobarajas, 29, of Livermore Ramon Vaca, 45, transient Antonio Cruzmartinez, 38, transient Oscar Portillomaya, 31, transient The suspects were booked into Santa Rita Jail for felony charges including residential burglary, grand theft of a firearm, receiving stolen property, and illegally possessing an assault weapon. Police said they are working to return the stolen property to the rightful owners.
