Mullin says it typically takes five to six months before a veteran has their procedure approved, prompting this exchange with Hughes County Commissioner Tom Rounds.

Commissioner Connie Hohn asked Mullin about what level of bureaucracy is slowing down the approval process.

Mullin sometimes gets asked to interpret what private medical insurance will or won’t cover, but that’s not something he can do.

Mullin spoke during this week’s (Oct. 7, 2024) Hughes County Commission meeting.
