Conjoined twin boys, born last year with a shared liver, successfully separated by CHOP surgeons

Children's Hospital of Philadelphia surgeons separated conjoined twin boys who were connected at the liver, sternum and abdominal walls. The boys, Amari and Javar Ruffin, spent more than a year at the hospital before they went home to their family in West Philadelphia. Their surgery occurred in August.
