PLAQUEMINES PARISH, La. (WGNO) — A Plaquemines Parish Sheriff's Office deputy is recovering after being involved in a crash. The Sheriff's Office posted to social media on Wednesday, Oct. 9 that the unnamed deputy had been involved in a motorcycle crash while on duty. ‘Severe crash’ in Abita Springs leaves two dead The deputy is currently in ICU and is listed in stable condition, according to the sheriff's office.
