WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – Get ready for a special day for mothers and their kids next month! The Mommy & Me Braid and Brunch event starts Saturday, November 9 from Noon to 5 p.m. at the Brookland Baptist Church on 1066 Sunset Boulevard. Alexis Raquel, licensed beauty professional and owner of The AR Experience, showed Curtis some of her techniques on how to properly braid someone’s hair. She says this event brings mothers and their children together to learn how to braid, enjoy some brunch, participate in activities like yoga sessions and so much more.
