NORTH DAKOTA (KXNET) — Residents who participate in SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) and lost food because of power outages may be eligible for replacement benefits. Households that lost power for over four hours and live in Williams or McKenzie counties have 10 days from the day food went bad to request replacement benefits. SNAP households that were impacted in other counties could also be eligible for the benefits.
