Serious crash on I70 causes significant delays in Frederick County

FREDERICK COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- Traffic was backed up for miles on Interstate 70 after a vehicle crashed in Frederick County Wednesday morning.
According to the Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT), the crash happened on I-70 East near Exit 42, in Myersville. The collision is between MD 66 and MD 17 through the South Mountain area.

As of 6:38 a.m., drivers traveling from Hagerstown into Frederick can expect significant delays.
